Stainless Steel 436 Plates and Sheets are ferritic stainless steels with a base content of iron, containing 16–18% Chromium, negligible carbon, manganese, silicon, and traces of nickel. The chemical composition makes them more resistant to oxidation and corrosion in aggressive environments. They have very good mechanical strength with a tensile strength of 520–720 MPa and yield strength of approximately 205 MPa.
