Stainless steel channels are usually made from grades of 304, 304L, 316, and 316L. These materials have chromium (18–20%) and nickel (8–12%), and they provide excellent corrosion resistance, with 316 grades having molybdenum as well for better performance in marine or chemical atmospheres.
