Stainless Steel 347/347H contains chromium (17-19%), nickel (9-13%), niobium/tantalum stabilizers, and carbon up to 0.04% for 347 and 0.10% for 347H. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of about 40%. 347H offers better creep strength for prolonged thermal conditions. Both grades resist oxidation up to 870°C, provide great weldability, and avoid carbide precipitation during welding.
