Stainless Steel 13-8 PH Sheets and Plates are precipitation-hardening martensitic alloys consisting of 2% molybdenum, 8% nickel, and 13% chromium, along with minute amounts of aluminum, carbon, and other trace elements. The composition results in great corrosion resistance and mechanical stability. The alloy can have up to 190 ksi tensile strengths, exceptional toughness, and excellent fatigue strength. The alloy retains mechanical stability even under demanding heat-treated states, providing adjustable hardness and strength. Having superb resistance to stress corrosion cracking, SS 13-8 PH plates and sheets are best used in extreme and corrosive conditions.
