Stainless Steel 317L contains chromium (18-20%), nickel (11-15%), molybdenum (3-4%), and very low carbon (<0.03%). Mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 170-205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. The low carbon content reduces carbide precipitation and improves weldability and resistance to intergranular corrosion. These sheets and plates maintain strength and toughness across a wide temperature range.

High resistance to corrosion by chlorides and acids available as sheets and plates from a thickness of 3mm to 100mm in width to 2 meters. The hot-rolled product allows heavy usage because it produces a tough and durable finish.
With high corrosion resistance, the cold rolling provides cold rolled sheets and plates that range in thickness from 0.3mm to 6mm, with widths reaching up to 1.5 meters. In the case of cold rolling, it leaves the surface very smooth and precise for aesthetic and high-precision uses.
They have been designed with the patterned surface for superior friction and slip resistance. Chequered sheets and plates provide superior resistance to corrosion. These products are available from 1.5mm up to 6mm thickness in custom sizes as per application requirements.
