Chanchai Stainless supplies Stainless Steel 317 Sheets and Plates in Bangkok, Thailand. These products are engineered to resist aggressive chemical environments. With more molybdenum than 316, grade 317 offers excellent protection against pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in chloride and acidic conditions. These sheets and plates combine durability, toughness, and weldability, ensuring long-term performance in harsh settings. Stainless Steel 317 is a cost-effective option when standard grades like 304 and 316 fall short. Chanchai Stainless ensures precision manufacturing, supplying 317 sheets and plates that meet international standards for strength, corrosion resistance, and reliability.
Stainless Steel 317 contains chromium (18-20%), nickel (11-15%), molybdenum (3-4%), and low carbon. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 35-40%. The high molybdenum content improves resistance to chlorides and reducing acids. These sheets and plates maintain toughness at both elevated and subzero temperatures while providing good weldability. Their enhanced chemical resistance makes them suitable for challenging environments.
