SS 201 sheets and plates include 16–18% chromium, 3.5–5.5% nickel, and heightened levels of manganese. They provide a tensile strength of 500–700 MPa and yield strength of 240–360 MPa. The alloy performs well during forming and machining, offering moderate corrosion resistance in dry and indoor environments. It maintains good mechanical stability during fabrication.
