Stainless steel angles are usually produced from grades 304, 304L, 316, and 316L. These alloys have 18–20% chromium and 8–12% nickel, which provide excellent corrosion resistance and strength. Grade 316 has molybdenum for increased corrosion resistance in marine and chemical conditions. Stainless steel angles possess tensile strength of 515–620 MPa and yield strength of approximately 205–310 MPa. They also possess excellent weldability, formability, and high temperature resistance as well as aggressive environment resistance.
