Stainless Steel Forged Fittings are made of high-quality stainless steel alloys with iron, chromium (10.5–20%), nickel (15% max.), and molybdenum for improved performance. Chromium adds better corrosion and oxidation resistance, and nickel adds toughness and thermal stability. Molybdenum adds pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chloride environments. These fittings contain excellent mechanical properties with superior tensile strength, durability, and stiffness for challenging applications.
