Stainless steel dairy fittings are mostly made from grades 304 and 316, comprising around 18% chromium and 8–10% nickel for superior corrosion resistance and durability. Grade 316, with the inclusion of molybdenum, provides stronger resistance to harsh chemicals and chlorides.
