Stainless Steel 310/310S sheets and plates consist of 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel and are renowned for their exceptional oxidation and scaling resistance at elevated temperatures. The 310S composition contains a reduced carbon content, enhancing weldability and reducing the possibility of carbide precipitation. These materials exhibit high tensile strength (approximately 515–620 MPa), good creep resistance, and structural stability at temperatures around 1150°C.
