Stainless Steel 348H Plates and Sheets are high-carbon austenitic stainless steels with improved resistance to intergranular corrosion and elevated temperature environments. They generally contain 18–20% Chromium, 8–10% Nickel, and 0.8–1.2% Carbon, with the addition of niobium stabilizers that increase strength and inhibit carbide precipitation.
