Stainless Steel 348H Tubing is an austenitic chromium-nickel Columbium-stabilized steel alloy with a composition that typically consists of 17–19% Chromium, 9–13% Nickel, and 0.04–0.10% Columbium, combined with small amounts of manganese and silicon. The alloy has a very good resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and creep, thus making it extremely suitable for prolonged operation at high temperatures. The material has better mechanical properties, including tensile strength and resistance, with structural stability.
