1H stainless steel is used to manufacture Stainless Steel 321H Nuts containing about 17–19% chromium and 9–12% nickel, along with traces of titanium. Titanium stabilization avoids intergranular corrosion during welding and increases resistance to thermal expansion. These nuts are characterized by high corrosion and oxidation resistance at raised tempe32ratures and sustain high mechanical strength. Typical properties are tensile strength of 515–700 MPa, yield strength of about 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%.
