Stainless Steel 321 Nuts consist of an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy stabilized by titanium. Composition by typical consists of about 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and traces of titanium for the purpose of avoiding intergranular corrosion when welding. The composition offers superior oxidation resistance, high tensile strength, and thermal stability at high temperatures. Mechanical properties consist of tensile strength of 515–700 MPa, yield strength of about 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. The nuts have enhanced durability, thermal expansion resistance, and retention of mechanical strength under extreme conditions and are best suited for high-temperature, high-stress, and corrosive industrial applications.
