Stainless Steel 347H Fasteners consist of an alloy that is mostly made up of iron, 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and niobium (10 times of carbon content) for stabilization. This alloy enhances resistance to intergranular corrosion and avoids carbide precipitation upon welding. With high carbon levels, 347H offers superior creep strength and endurance at high temperatures. The fasteners have excellent oxidation and carburization resistance, high tensile strength (515–700 MPa), yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of about 40%.
