Stainless Steel 347H Pipe Fittings are fabricated from a stabilized austenitic stainless steel alloy with 17–20% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and columbium (niobium), having higher carbon than 347 in order to have increased creep resistance and high-temperature strength. The fittings have superior mechanical properties such as tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa along with good elongation and ductility. Their exceptional resistance to intergranular corrosion, even following welding or long heat exposure, renders them suitable for demanding service environments.
