316Ti stainless steel pipe fittings consist of iron, chromium (16-18%), nickel (10-14%), molybdenum (2-3%), and up to 0.7% titanium, which stabilizes the material and improves resistance against intergranular corrosion. The inclusion of titanium enables the alloy to resist higher temperatures than the regular 316. It has a tensile strength of about 550 MPa and yield strength of about 240 MPa, with high ductility and formability. Their oxidation and scaling resistance at high temperatures, along with weldability, allow 316Ti fittings to be applied in critical conditions that include thermal cycling as well as corrosive fluids.
