Stainless Steel 316H Bolts are produced using a high-carbon variant of 316 stainless steel, with 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum. The higher carbon content enhances tensile and creep strength at high temperatures and, therefore, such bolts can be used in severe thermal conditions. These bolts usually possess a tensile strength of about 515 MPa and a yield strength of 205 MPa.
