SS 310 has 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, and ~0.25% carbon. It provides tensile strength ~520 MPa, yield strength ~205 MPa, and structural integrity at temperatures up to 1150°C. SS 310 is an excellent oxidation-resistant alloy, has thermal strength, and is non-magnetic when annealed. SS 310 is also good at welding and resistant to sulfidation and carburization.
