Stainless Steel 321 bars contain chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–12%), titanium stabilizers, and carbon (<0.08%). Their mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. Titanium prevents carbide precipitation, which improves resistance to intergranular corrosion. These bars resist oxidation up to 870°C and provide creep resistance under stress.
