Chanchai Stainless, located in Bangkok, is a reliable manufacturer and supplier of AWS Class E630‑16 Electrodes. These high-performance filler rods are designed for welding and repairing high-alloy, corrosion-resistant stainless steels. They meet strict specifications, offering consistent arc stability and minimal distortion. This makes them perfect for precision welding tasks. With strict quality control and premium alloying, Chanchai Stainless ensures that E630‑16 electrodes provide reliable performance in harsh chemical and marine environments.
E630‑16 electrodes create weld metal with approximately 20–22% chromium, 12–14% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum, along with niobium and tantalum for better carbide control. The weld metal shows high tensile strength (~580–650 MPa), excellent resistance to pitting, and stable creep strength at 450 °C. The molybdenum and niobium additives enhance resistance to corrosion from chlorides, and the weld microstructure remains strong across various temperature ranges.

These electrodes offer exceptional corrosion resistance and are ideal for various stainless steel welding applications. They typically come in sizes like 1/8″, 5/32″, and 3/16″. The light coating ensures smooth arc stability and minimal spatter during welding.
Offering robust corrosion resistance, these electrodes are designed for demanding welding tasks on stainless steel. Available in sizes such as 1/8″, 5/32″, and 3/16″, the heavy coating enhances arc stability and slag removal, making them suitable for heavy-duty applications.
These electrodes provide superior corrosion resistance for stainless steel welding with shielded arc protection. They are typically available in diameters of 1/8″, 5/32″, and 3/16″. The shielded arc ensures clean, strong welds with minimal contamination.
We ensure a high quality standard with our offerings on the AWS Class E630-16 Electrodes. Our product details include commercial invoices and packaging lists, along with fumigation certificates and heat treatment charts, quality assurance plans and approved laboratory test reports. We also include several test certificates for the electrodes. These certificates include MTC as per EN 10204/3.1b, PMI Test Certificate, 100% radiography test report, and Third-Party Inspection Certificate. We aim to guarantee 100% client satisfaction and confidence in our products by providing these thorough certifications.
These electrodes are perfect for welding duplex or superaustenitic stainless steels in highly corrosive settings, such as chemical reactors, offshore platforms, and process piping in chloride-rich environments. They are especially useful for repairing heat exchangers, valves, and pumps, as well as for stainless overlay welding in facilities that handle sulfuric or hydrochloric acid. Their strong weld quality and corrosion resistance are vital in petrochemical, maritime, and pulp and paper industries.
